After the success of our deer collection, we wanted to try something new at Metalmade – handcrafted geometric pineapples in Corten steel.
Why pineapples?
Well, they’ve always meant more than just fruit. Back in the day, they were rare and exotic. Hosts would even rent them to show generosity and status. Over time, they became a symbol of welcome, appearing on gates, furniture and architecture.
Today, they still carry those meanings – friendship, hospitality, good fortune, even a touch of luxury.
We’ve made these in 2mm Corten steel, so over time they’ll develop a rich orange-brown patina. They’re bold, playful, and elegant and are perfect for a garden, an entrance, or any space you want to make a statement.
